What the...


During our latest forced excursion into the heart of Genova (in-town field studies assignment), I discovered this window on the Catedral di San Lorenzo (see earlier blog). Yes it really looks like that. It is actually skewed in elevation so that the left side of the window casing is twice as wide as the right. After a [not so] thorough survey of the rest of the building, I found it to be the only one! Why in the world would they have built this on a mid-evil cathedral? More appropriately, can I apply it to my studio project...?
