A Photography Lesson

All the students in Genoa will agree with me when I say that we all know that Gary is amazing at Photoshop. It’s just a proven fact. I for one have very much enjoyed his Photoshop and photography tutorials, even such little brush-ups as the shortcut for zoom in. Another thing that our in-residence pro has reminded me of is that the difference that light and angle makes in a picture. I was reminded of this lesson while looking at my pictures of Amsterdam. These two pictures are of virtually the same subject, our own Blake Hoffman. But by simply changing the angle for the second picture, I was able to capture the true spirit and mood of one of our very dear classmates on a rainy day in Amsterdam.
