Parco della Musica
Parco della Musica by Renzo Piano
These three concert halls in Rome, designed by the Italian architect Renzo Piano, are a wonderful sight to see. Although it may seem a bit over the top to have three auditoriums, plus a fourth outside one, each serves its own specific purpose. The three buildings stand separate to ensure a soundproof show, but are connected by a continuous lobby. The largest concert hall, which can accommodate up to 2800 people, has an amazing wooden drop-panel ceiling that is also used for sound absorption. The other halls can accommodate up to 1200 and 700 people respectively.
