If you find yourself looking for a place to stay in Interlaken, we recommend the Happy Inn Lodge, just a five minute walk from the Interlaken West train station. This hostel offers 60 beds ranging from single to dormitory style rooms for incredibly low rates. Also, there is a bar & restaurant, Brasserie 17, on the bottom floor which boasts the "best ribs & wings in Switzerland". (The burgers are great too, but we recommend waiting until afer 9:00 pm when the prices drop significantly.) The rooms are comfortable, but at about 10 Swiss Francs per night, you can only expect so much. Also, the staff here is incredibly helpful in connecting you to various adventure and sports outlets so that you may reserve any activities in the area.
