Planometric study
One of our sketching assignments prompted us to go downtown and sketch a planometric view of a square area with at least two piazzas. I choose two of my favorite piazzas which are located close to eachother because I always get turned around when going from one to the other. Sketching the path I walked not only gave me a better sense of direction in that part of the city, but also allowed me to understand the urban fabric of the side streets in the downtown area and how the voids create the piazza spaces that are essential to Italian (night)life.
