The best thing about wondering around the city is coming across something unexpected and beautiful. One evening a couple of us decided to go for a walk up part of Via Piaggio that we had never traveled before. The leisurely walk along with chit chatting eventually took us to the top of the funicolare where we saw the most beautiful night scene of Genova. From the panoramic lookout, we could see all of the port and the coast line of Genova. If you have to walk or ride to the top, its a must see before leaving Genova!
