Stoa of Attalos
The Stoa of Attalos is located on the south side of the agora in Athens. It was a public building usually located near a market. This building was constructed during the Hellenistic period. It was a gift in 138 BC from the ruler of Pergammon for the education he received there It was destroyed in 267 and reconstructed for use as the museum for the agora in the 1940s. It is a beautiful building and a great reconstruction to get the fell of what the buildings actually looked like.
