Up on the Roof

If you don't believe that the Duomo di Milano is one of the world's largest churches, try going up on the roof! Offering awesome views of the Piazza del Duomo and panoramic views of Milan, the roofline is one of the most impressive places to experience the city. Visitors will encounter forests of spires along with masterful statuary that is otherwise unseen from the ground. The church also bears an octagonal cupola from the 1500's and the Madonnina spire capped with a statue of the Madonna at 108 meters high. On sunny days visitors are even rewarded with sights of the Italian Alps! The roof of the Duomo is open from 7:00-19:00 daily and the current fee is 3.50 Euro.
