Rene's Croissants in Amsterdam

Rene's Croissants is a fabulous little pastry shop near Amsterdam's Red Light District. The fried apples and the apple turnovers are traditional Dutch delicacies. However, everything in the store is absolutely fabulous. And they are even better if you ask the workers to heat them up. Which, they will gladly do with a smile. The workers are all extremely friendly, speak great English, and are glad to give you advice on what to purchase. Rene's is open until 1 or 2ish in the morning on weekdays, and they stay open until 4 a.m. on the weekends. They are perfect for that reasonably priced, late night snack after a night out in Amsterdam.
