Parco Querini is situated in the historical center of Vicenza. The park is equipped with both exercise stations and a track that follows the perimeter. Many people use the park to exercise and to push strollers and walk dogs. A stream runs through the park, following a manmade canal that slices across the contours. Where the canal ends, there is a pond with an island that rises up and is capped by a monument (reflection is seen in the water, below). The stream empties out of the pond and continues through the park where it empties into the Fiume Bacchiglione. The park has two main axis, one is the stream and the other is an allee bordered on either side by evergreens and replicas of historic statues.
