Tiny Streets, Tiny Cars

The medieval city center of Genova is a maze of old, narrow streets and alleys. As the city became more and more crowded during its growth as one of the most important ports in Europe, additional space was needed within the city walls. Subsequently, buildings were added onto on the street front, narrowing the streets even further. Obviously, this was done without anticipating the invention of the automobile. Subsequently, as you may know, there are some very tiny vehicles in Genova, and all of Italy, that can fit into the very tiny streets.
