Located near the Duomo on Via della Vigna Vecchia in Florence, restaurant Acqua al 2 offers a cozy atmosphere and tasty Italian food. The menu is full of delicious choices, but if you find yourself torn on what to order, they offer many assaggios or samplers of every course. We ordered the assaggio di primi, which is a sampler of five pastas of the evening. Be prepared to share, as the four of us found ourselves overwhelmed with large amounts of delicious pasta that we felt guilty leaving on the plate. The assaggio d’insalate also provided a fresh taste of the restaurant’s three salads, if looking for something lighter.
