This is located behind San' Ambrosio Cathedral. The first picture is of San' Ambrosio Cathedral. You have to walk around the Cathedral to be able to see this monument and it is well worth it. There is a quote on it stating, "Largo Caduti Milanesi Per la Patria." Which means "A Milanese gift to the father". There are often wreaths and laurels in the mounument. If you are there is quite the courtyard with a very larg spruce and a well manicured yard. There is a lot of dog poop, so watch your step. This is a quiet site that is slightly off the street and shielded from the everyday inhabitants of Milan.
