The Graffiti at the Universita di Genova

While in pursuit of residential housing in Genoa, I stumbled across the Universita di Genova. What seemed to stand out most to me about this particular college was graffiti on one of the first buildings. The graffiti was not slang or words but actual artwork that some students had done. The meaning of the graffiti remains unknown to an outside spectator, but to the students the meaning is probably clear and understood. This is similar to architectural projects that only the student knows what the building is supposed to be like. The graffiti shows the students' freedom of expression and creativity. They were very creative also in their choice of a canvas. Instead of most students, who use real canvas, the Genoa students painted on the wall in the form of graffiti.
