Pathway through the Deer Moat, Prague Castle
The pathway through the Deer moat to the Prague Castle designed by Josef Pleskot AP Atelier in 2002 is a truly wonderful experience to happen upon. The entrance is somewhat hidden from all the tourist traffic and is a perfect retreat from the crowd. The Tunnel is composed primarily of the arching brick patterns alternating in length to create a smooth and simple appearance coupled with the accent lights that wash only one side of the tube. The result is beautiful and solemn experience that greatly contrasts with the bright airy feeling of the exterior on both ends. Highly recommended but don’t tell anyone :)
