Park at the University in Milan
Park at the University in Milan
This park is laid out in a grid-like pattern displaying the uniformity of the trees, benches, and the brick pattern. Depending on the angle of view, the trees can appear to be in a straight row or randomly placed along this grid. Although this park had many benches, very few people were taking the opportunity to relax. But, on the other hand, many people were using the space to walk through. A hard-surfaced park tends to be less inviting to spend time in, but it is very interesting to observe or to pass through. This type of park is a good way to add green space to an area that is mostly covered in hard surfaces.
