Italy under re-construction

Within the history of Italy lies a great tradition of readapting buildings for reuse as well as meticulous renovations on aging historic markers. However, there is also a new fashion emerging within the outskirts of Italian towns that could start to reverse the tradition as an economically and ecologically oriented architecture and planning. Wine vineyards are currently in jeopardy of becoming the vast fields of mud ready for the root of the blight of modern sprawl or the suburban sprawl epidemic.
