Love Locks
Location: Along the Arno towards Ponte Vecchio
If you blink, you might miss it, but those with a keen eye walking along the Arno River towards Ponte Vecchio in Florence, Italy may notice these “love locks” left behind from lovers strolling along the river. Similar to the tradition of carving in a tree, these locks show names, quotes, and sometimes dates of memorable and romantic trips to the river.
